When I was a wee young babe, I was always intrigued by people with body modifications; anyone who looked different than the “norm” of small town Manitoba. I had so many thoughts going through my head. Why did these people choose to alter their appearances, where did they do it and most importantly, how could I do it for myself?

I knew I would eventually find my way into the body mod industry; I just took a few detours first. I worked as a Nail Technician for seven years which helped me perfect my fine motor skills and my even better people skills. I also graduated with my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree during this time.

Once I moved to Winnipeg it didn’t take long for me to get my foot in the right door… and now here I am at Metamorphosis! It is super rad to be working in an industry where I get to help others transform their bodies for their own reasons; whether it is a form of self expression, an experiment to see how far one can push their body, or for spiritual or sexual reasons. Having the ability and skill set to perform such procedures is pretty cool. Talking clients through their nerves, feeding off of each others’ energy and excitement and finally adorning their bodies with top quality jewelry is a great way to spend my day. The moment my client looks in the mirror with utmost elation is so extremely satisfying I cannot help but smile.
