Artist Bio

It was with enthusiasm and an academic interest that I began my foray into the world of body piercings. I have always been fascinated by the practices of body modification, starting with some studying as a kid about a frozen mummy dating back from 3400 – 3100 BCE who was discovered to have had a total of 61 tattoos and stretched ears (because, clearly, I’m a nerd). Little did I know that I would one day go down the path of body modification as a career.

I was completely fascinated to find a common link between my studies and the markings of a counterculture that I knew nothing about but found undeniably alluring. Call it teen rebellion or anthropological curiosity… either way, this would become the launch point of a lifelong obsession with piercings and tattoos.

Everyday I am humbled by the opportunity to devote my personal passion and professional enthusiasm into helping others express their individual idea of beauty. My aim is to educate others about and to provide a safe piercing experience in a professional setting; and to continue to explore and better understand the link between human psychology and the practice of body modification, whether it be cultural, expressional, sexual, or metaphysical. Oh — and to give you an incredible new piercing, of course!
